Begin by following the supplied character lines, then choose how to fill the picture with color. Trace Then Color is intended for ages 3 and up. The outline offers a starting structure for a child who wants to work with cool stuff monsters aliens robots and more before trying to draw a whole cartoon independently.

The interesting next choice belongs to the artist: a familiar palette, unexpected markings, or an invented color combination. Ask the child what name the finished character might have. That conversation is an optional extension, not an additional activity printed in the book.

This collection belongs on the sci-fi side of the character shelf. Machines, extraterrestrial characters, and hybrids offer an imaginative neighboring theme for Goober fans. These are cartoon art activities, not engineering lessons or factual science textbooks.
