Color ideas for cartoon monsters
Make the finish personal after the character task.
Invent a rule for the palette
A made-up creature does not need a natural animal color scheme. Try deciding that the character has one bright feature, or that its markings explain where it lives. These are optional art prompts rather than printed requirements.
Choose the right starting book
Tracing supplies an outline to follow before coloring. A six-stage or grid book asks the artist to make the drawing first. If coloring is the main request, compare that extra drawing task before selecting the title.
